DETERMINANT FACTOR: RISK OF STUNTING AMONG CHILDREN IN LIPAT VILLAGE, KAMPAR REGENCY, RIAU, INDONESIA

Introduction: Failure to grow and develop optimally early in life has become a health problem throughout the world and in the economic sector. Methods: This study is a quantitative study using a cross sectional design. The study was conducted on March-April 2021. The sample in this study were mothers who had stunted toddlers aged 3-5 years. Sampling technique is simple random sampling The test used is the Chi-Square with 0.05. Results: The results showed that 100 respondents, 78% of respondents experienced stunting in the short category, 92% of respondents had a height <159 cm, 49% of respondents experienced pregnancy as a teenager (age <19 years), 86% of respondents did not experience anemia, 86 % of respondents did not experience diarrhea, 98% of respondents did not experience BBL, 75% of respondents breastfed their children fully (6-24 months). Bivariate analysis found that there was a relationship between short stature mothers and the incidence of stunting with p value = 012 (p < 0.05), there was no relationship between pregnancy during adolescence and stunting incidence, p value = 0.537 (p> 0.05), there is no relationship between the incidence of anemia with the incidence of stunting p value = 0.133 (p> 0.05), there is no relationship between the incidence of diarrhea in children and the incidence of stunting p value = 0.369 (p> 0.05), there is no relationship between birth weight with the incidence of stunting p-value = 0.607 (p>0.05), there is no relationship between breastfeeding and the incidence of stunting p-value = 0.577 (p>0.05). Conclusion: The results of this study are expected to be evidence based in the prevention of stunting risk factors for the government.

Food Hygiene In Nutrition Unit Of Petala Bumi Hospital Riau Province

Abstract-Objective: The hospital functions as a place of healing and recovery of disease, one of which is by providing nutritious intake to patients without neglecting the cleanliness starting from the ordering process, processing to food distribution. This study aims to determine food, personal and environmental hygiene in the nutritional installation of Petala Bumi Hospital Riau Province. This research is a qualitative research based on the philosophy of postpositivism. The research sample consisted of 4 people, namely the head of nutrition installation, production, distribution and outsourcing. The variables studied included the reception of food ingredients, storage, processing, serving, distribution, behavior of food handlers, and cleanliness of the work environment. Research instruments in the form of interview guides, observation sheets, and document review as a comparison. The results of this study indicate that the food hygiene at the Petala Bumi Hospital nutritional installation has fulfilled the requirements and is categorized as good, only a few aspects that have not been maximally fulfilled such as the stage of processing food that is good and right can be able to maintain the quality and safety of processed food. Whereas the wrong way of processing can cause excessive nutrient content in food.

EMPLOYMENT HOUSEHOLD MOTHER MANAGEMENT IN GUIDING NUTRITION FOR BABY UNDER FIVE YEARS AND CHILDREN IN BUKIT AGUNG VILLAGE, KERINCI KANAN DISTRICTS, SIAK REGENCY

Households play an important role in regulating family health by regulating the nutrition intake of toddlers and children. Sources of food available in the yard can be used to be a healthy and nutritious food by processing these ingredients properly. It needs to empower housewives in managing nutrition and toddlers by utilizing food sources in the vicinity. The purpose of dedication is 1) Empowerment of housewife in regulating child and child nutrition, 2) Increasing knowledge and skill of housewife in processing food that exist in home yard into healthy and nutritious food. The activity was held in Bukit Agung Village, Kerinci Kanan District, Siak Regency, Riau Province. The method used is counseling and training. The technique of selecting the participants is done by purposive sampling, ie farmers who use their home yard for medicinal plants, food crops, horticulture, fish and others that can potentially meet family needs. The results of this activity indicate that after counseling there is increasing knowledge of housewife about nutritious food source for toddler and child equal to 20,83% and nutritional benefit for growth and development of child equal to 25%. Once given training housewives can take advantage of available food sources in the yard of his house into a variety of healthy and nutritious foods such as pudding and meatballs

PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT DI SEKITAR PERUSAHAAN INTI INDOSAWIT SUBUR

Perusahaan Inti Indosawit Subur adalah perusahan swasta yang bergerak dibidang perkebunan kelapa sawit. Dalam melaksanakan aktivitas produksinya, perusahaan tetap memperhatikan masyarakat tempatan untuk meningkatkan perekonomiannya melalui program CSR. Program CSR diprioritaskan pada peningkatan perekonomian masyarakat melalui program bantuan sapi perah, pemanfaatan kotoran sapi dan limbah sawit untuk pupuk tanaman hortikultura mengurangi pengeluaran pembelian pupuk bagi masyarakat. Kegiatan IbwCSR dilakukan di dua desa yaitu Desa Makmur, Kecamatan Pangkalan Kerinci, Kabupaten Pelalawan, dan Desa Bukit Agung Kabupaten Siak Propinsi Riau. Dilaksanakan mulai bulan Maret sampai bulan Agustus 2017 ,Kegiatan yang dilakukan terdiri dari : Pembuatan instalasi biogas, Pembuat demplot hortikultura, Pemanfaatan pupuk organik untuk sayuran, Pelatihan analisis usaha, Penyuluhan kesehatan, Pelatihan olahan ikan, Pendampingan dan evaluasi hasil. Hasil kegiatan initelah dibuat kandang percontohan,demplot tanaman dan pelatihan ada peningkatan pengetahuanmanfaat mengkonsumsi ikan (100%), mengolah ikan menjadi nugget dan bakso ikan (80%),bahan baku pembuatan nugget dan bakso ikan (80%), dan manfaat olahan ikan (100%).Setelah diberi pelatihan, peserta telah meningkat pengetahuan mengkomsumsi ikan untuk gizi keluarga.

Pola Asuh Anak antara Ibu yang Menikah Usia Dini dengan Ibu yang Menikah Usia Dewasa di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Tapung Hilir 2 Kabupaten Kampar

pola asuh merupakan pola interaksi orang tua dengan anak dalam pendidikan karakter anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pola asuh anak yang menikah usia dini dengan ibu yang menikah usia dewasa diwilayah kerja puskesmas tapung hilir 2 kabupaten Kampar. Metode penelitian jenis penelitian kuantitatifdengan desain analitikkomparatif. Pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel penelitian adalah ibu yang menikah usia dini 73 renponden dan ibu yang menikah usia dewasa 73 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel proportional stratifit random sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan keusioner. Analisa data yang digunakan dengan menggunakan Paired Sampel T Test. Hasil penelitian 73 responden ibu menikah usia dini 72,60 % menerapkan pola asuh anak permisif. 73 responden ibu menikah usia dewasa 54,8 % menerapkan pola asuh anak demokrasi. Uji statistik Paired Sampel T Test didapatkan p value 0,001< 0,05, makaada perbedaan pola asuh anak antara ibu yang menikah usia dini dengan ibu yang menikah usia dewasa diwilayah kerja puskesmas tapung hilir 2 kabupaten Kampar. Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat memberi informasi kepada ibu dalam memberikan pola asuh anak sehingga kepribadian anak terbentuk.
